2023 Accomplishments: Fascia Training in Application
Of the many great projects Smart Fish worked on this year, our proudest accomplishment was—fins down—the release of the groundbreaking book Facia Training in Application. Cowritten by Creative Director Johnathon Allen in collaboration with speed training legend Bill Parisi (Parisis Speed School), Smart Fish handled the entire production process tip-to-tail including editorial development, cover design, layout, licensing and permissions, custom photo shoots, expert interviews, project coordination, and final publication in print and Kindle with international distribution via Amazon (AVAILABLE HERE).
Contributors
With a foreword by Todd Wright (LA Clippers), the 65,000-word full-color book features interviews with top researchers in the field of fascia science and elite performance coaches including Bobby Stroupe (personal trainer for Patrick Mahomes), Cem Eren (world champion boxing trainer), Keith Baar (head of the Functional Molecular Biology Lab at UC Davis), and Ken Clark (speed-specialist at West Chester University), among others. The book explores the latest tools, technologies, and practices for fascia-aware training backed with practical principles and techniques for improving performance and reducing injury.

Innovative QR Codes
To maximize bringing principle into practice, Smart Fish developed custom QR codes on each exercise, linking readers directly to online example videos.
